Celebrate Christmas at Stable on the Strand, a dramatic walk through interactive display depicting the historical culture surrounding the Christmas Story. It is spread right across Strand Park as they recreate the Town of Bethlehem. See live animals, actors in period costume, bands, face painting, bubble blowing, juggling, puppets, craft activities and story telling fun for all the family. After enjoying the ambiance of Bethlehem 2000 years ago, head to the adjacent stage on the beach to be entertained by talented performers, including Colin Buchanan. There will be lots of kid's activities to keep little ones busy as well as a complimentary slice of fruitcake and cuppa to sustain you through all of the fun.
There is free admittance for visitors of all ages. Stable on the Strand is a Drug and Alcohol free event. Come along and enjoy Stable on the Strand as part of Townsville's Christmas Festival.
