This event is an environmental expo showcasing the natural and cultural highlights of the Hinchinbrook Shire. The fun-filled five day event will feature exhibitions, displays and activities with a particular focus on the Tyto Wetlands precinct, a 120 hectare wetland site located in close proximity to Ingham.
The wetland integrates lagoons, interpretive signs, look outs and bird hides. The extensive walking tracks throughout the wetlands allow visitors the unique opportunity to view wildlife closely without interference or disturbance to the wildlife and their habitat.
Celebrate through the visual arts, performing arts, community cultural development activities, educational activities, film, literature, displays and informational talks to identify, consolidate and celebrate the cultural profile of this unique community. The weekend will bring food stalls with tasty treats and live music on Saturday night. So much can be enjoyed under the stars. Sunday is wind up with market stalls and food stalls.
