Disabled: There is access for guests with a disability. They are not an accredited disabled property but the resort is very wheelchair friendly and the apartments are extremely spacious.
Miscellaneous:
In the event of a guest desiring to cancel the booking, no refund of the deposit shall be made unless the apartment is re-let for the same period booked. A cancellation will attract an AUD50.00 administration fee. There will be no refund for early departure. Prices are subject to change without notice.
The 'brand new' Akama Resort will be opening in September 2007. Excellently positioned opposite the Hervey Bay Marina precinct, the Akama Resort is plush, modern and welcoming.
Akama Resort will donate AUD10.00 of each booking during whale season to Greenpeace to help Save the Whales.
Driving in from Maryborough, you'll find yourself entering Hervey Bay on Boat Harbour Drive. Continue along this road for approximately 15 kilometres - you will pass Urangan Central Shopping Centre on your left hand side. Continue straight through the roundabout for one kilometre, turn left at the intersection onto the Esplanade. Akama Resort is on the next left corner at the Miller Street roundabout.
